This is coming right off the heels of the Brandon Jennings vs Too Hard To Guard matchup and following facebook and twitter war. A Butta, the streetball legend that played even with Vince Carter as a high schooler and played in the same backcourt with former Laker point guard Smush Parker called out Mel “The Executioner” Credle who has been making a name for himself in NYC over the last few years. Streetball legend, Adrian Walton throws down the gauntlet and challenges Melvin Credle, aka “The Executioner” or “The Problem Child” to play for $5,000 at the Tri State Classic. The Ooh Way team had just lost to the Team 914 team who also beat them in the Inside Streetball Invitational tournament for $10,000 on a last second shot. so tensions were already high but that didn’t stop A Butta who had nothing to do with the game from taunting Mel for the last ten minutes of the game. It all culminated in a showdown which led to the challenge.
